it\'s very nice, I just wish I had some more time to figure it out. Also, I noticed that the lenses I want for it cost more than the camera !   :eek:

anyhoo.... I\'m a zombie and don\'t even know why I started this thread. Except to ask for any tips other owners may have....besides reading the book, which I am trying to find time to do.:running:

I would like to see the pictures of your camera and pictures taken by this camera too.  Videoholic seem to own Canon Rebel, so I think he can give out tips on it.

I admire people who get into this hobby, mainly because all the lenses and doo-dads confuse the hell out of me.



Looks slick.  Please don\'t become one of those amateur photo geeks that makes fun of someone whenever they post vacation pictures online. ;)

You can NEVER go wrong with a Canon DSLR.

I have a Canon 5D (13 MP) and the quality is sensational, almost medium format, Canon really know what they are doing with their CMOS sensors.

No all you need is a 24-70mm L lens....

congrats on the purchase.. post some pics so we can see what it can do ;)

I\'m in the market for a camera myself (video though, DV) and i\'ve been eyeing the Canon GL2.  I got an old Canon A-1 that is still my workhorse when I want to go old school.
