Actually I did at first because someone taught it to me a while back. But Now I can play parts of certain easy songs. Like I said, this is my first week playing. I\'ll get it eventually. I noticed on my On Demand from Comcast, they have guitar lessons you can take for free on their digital cable shit. Gonna do that maybe tonight or something.

I just said it b/c thats like what EVERYONE learns to play on the elec. guitar. I did the same..lol That and the riff to Iron Man.

ultimate-guitar.com is probably the best site for tabs. it was mxtabs.com but they got taken down.

Actually Titan you should buy that album.  It\'s called "Machine Head" by Deep Purple.
 
"Smoke on the Water" is not the only song that\'s fun to learn when you\'re starting out.  I\'ve had that album since long before I started playing, and I remember teaching myself how to play other songs like "Lazy" and "Maybe I\'m a Leo."  It\'s a good place to start.  :)

I love the way my Schecter plays. The only thing I don\'t like about it is that it doesn\'t have a tremolo system (which is fine). I wonder if I can modify it later on and put a Floyd Rose system in it when I get the money. This baby I will never part with.

Evi, I like yours. How does teh Yamaha play?

It plays like a dream and it\'s real easy on the fingers. It also stays in tune for a billion years. I have a shitty amp though...that definitely needs an upgrade. I\'m also ditching my keyboard and getting a full size concert piano. That\'s going to set me back about $2,500.

I was going to get a Schecter a while back, but then they discontinued the one I wanted...douche bags. It was more rounded on the body and it had cherry red and black tiger stripes for the design.

I\'ll have to check on eBay then. It was pretty sweet looking. Right now I\'m just focusing on getting the new concert piano. My current one does not suffice. I need a full size. This is what I\'m getting (it\'s the black one on the bottom) ~>
