Racism online?..

I hated my experience on Live! so much.  It\'s 10x worse than the PC community in my experience.  I can\'t imagine myself using a voice comm for *any* console game in the near future.  Too many morons out there.

One racist I remember while in my MOHAA clan (for PC) loved to say n*gger over & over, asked him why and he said he genuinely doesn\'t like black people.  Then I found his clan\'s forum and kept sending him videos of white people getting the shit kicked out of them by anyone of color.  He always got really pissed, which was more entertaining than his little online gaming racist rants.

But I don\'t understand why black people can use nigger all they want but once someone else uses it, its suddenly offensive. If they want to help stop racism, maybe they should stop using the word to describe themselves.

Not every black person does that, actually. Not every black person fits the image you have in your head when you think of this type of person.

What\'s funny is how Nintendo goes out of its way to make it difficult to hook up with strangers online to protect kids, but it\'s actually the kids themselves who are most offensive in that environment.

I was actually talking about more of the rappers and stuff. But even around my school, a lot of the black people use nigger all the time. I was on my computer in the student center at my school and this black kid was at the table next to me and was saying nigger like every 5 words.

But I doubt that guy is racist against blacks, too. If you don\'t give the word that kind of weight, it doesn\'t carry that kind of tone. And that\'s pretty much how that whole "movement" got started.
 
On the other hand, I might find the term "fuckhead" to be inoffensive if I use it all the time casually, but other people would probably still find it offensive.

Solidifies my point though. A black person can say it even in public and stuff and its really not looked twice at most of the time but have a white person say it, even when he\'s not in public or anything and people immediately think he/she\'s a racist. But I guess the same can be said about yoru fuckhead analogy. Some people would get offended by it. I don\'t know why. I\'ve been called it by my friends and I don\'t care.

The question has been asked a bizillion times and answered a bizillion different ways. Clips had a good answer a while ago when it was brought up so u can go look for that post. One opinion i\'ve seen from black people is that if you use the word enough, itll lose it\'s meaning. On the other hand you have black people saying it should never be said..good lucking finding the answer

I see it a little too often on some games..but even 1 in like 20 people that 1 person will piss me off enough to say it\'s happening too often.

Anyone can buy a console and hop on xbox live..and there\'s plenty of idiots in the world, especially ignorant little kids
