Final Fantasy XII USA saves compatable with?

... The UK game saves?

Anyone any ideas? Has anyone tried doing this sort of thing before?

I bought FFXII USA on day of launch but im sick of having to do the fiddly swap trick to play this game and I\'m thinking of rebuying it when its released here later this month. So yeah... I\'m wanting to continue where I left off?
