speaking of Euro Ps3\'s, im doing some business article/report thing and came across this at forbes http://www.forbes.com/feeds/ap/2007/02/28/ap3469939.html
Not sure if the popular games will have that software that makes it backwards compatible. Or if theyre retarded like MS and make games like wolverine\'s game backwards compatible and only one of the prince of persias...
meh, if sony wanted to save some loot, they should\'ve shelved blu-ray,...personally i don\'t see no-need for hd-dvd or blu-ray, as the standard dvd movies play exceptionally well imo. when and if blu-ray becomes the standard, then maybe i could\'ve seen them pushin for this, but as it is now? it really is still up in the air as far as blu-ray is concerned and clearly they could\'ve cut out that option, and saved some massive capital there.
as far as the backwards compatiable option? i\'ve always wondered how long that was going to last, i was thinking for sure that for next gen (ps4) that this option would be gone completely, but it is one of the system\'s strong selling points...i also thought sony should\'ve have went on ahead and paid the extra cash for that rumble feature. say what you want, but that rumble feature added another level of depth to the games,...it\'s going to feel weird with that option gone as well....
i\'m ranting a bit but as i\'ve always stated, if these companies just concentrated on makin\' games and stop trying to be the all in one, they would be be makin\' way more profit and would end up pleasing everybody in general. throwing so much tech into a system that\'s going to last at the most what? 5 - 7 yrs is a bit foolish, then by the time it\'s time for that new system to come out, yer hands are kinda tied because of so much money invested in the product, in this case ps3.....this is just my opinion of course but this is just how i see it
