i agree...with the technology they have now, i believe they could\'ve made a fantastic transformer movie usin\' the generation 1 models, just upgrade them to today\'s model cars and trucks, and it would\'ve been a wrap....

They didn\'t even need to do that. They could have kept the models EXACTLY how they were. No upgrading to current cars or any crap like that. Keep it original, but some people get to much freedom and get stupid.

No it didn\'t.

It looked fucking awesome. I\'m not a huge Marvel fan, but this movie looks like it\'s going to kick fifty different kinds of ass. Can\'t wait for next year.

Downey Jr. is in the same boat as Christopher Walken. A lot of times, he is simply playing Downey Jr. and it still comes off great.  I mean, take his performance in this trailer, compare it to his performance in Zodiac (which rocked) and they are almost identical. Does it matter? Nope, because somehow, he still pulls it off.
