No clue how long milk & cookies will have this up but they have another video of Michael Moore talking about how he hopes people get to view the movie. Weather its free on the net or you go to the theaters.

Anyways, watching it now.

Watched it last night. The main thing it does is make me VERY happy that I live in Canada. If it really is that bad in the states the something surely has to be changed.

I can\'t really comment on it too well because I have never had to deal with any of the problems depicted in the movie. So I don\'t know how leinant Moore is being with his facts. I\'d like to hear from some Americans how bad it really is.

also here is a video of Michael Moore going at it with Wolf Blitzer on live tv last night

life\'s hard here. I wake up, go to work, hang out with friends, play guitar, play some 360, and go to bed.

of course the hospitals suck and HMO\'s suck (i had no idea what the documentary was about..looked on IMDB really quick). I havent found it that big of a deal. we pay more, but you also have to pay more for every single product on the shelves since the canadian dollar is ass.

Worst HMO story i have is that i hurt my shoulder and had to see like 5 people to warrent free rehab.

just personally really tired of people making all these decisions on stuff from the media and not taking the person\'s (whose making the documentary) point of view into consideration. Moore might have some convincing arguements but of its going to be slated to the left, and you know there\'s always an arguement for the other side. First the US is great, then its shitty..all based on what people see in documentaries and movies

Actually the Canadian dollar is far from what it use to be. Currently it is 95.38 cents when compared to a US dollar. It has vastly improved from what it use to be in the past.

I have awesome health benefits with the company I work for now.  They pay 100% of my family coverage.  We have a high deductible... for most people that would suck... but my work pays it up front ($4,800 a year) and if you go over that, then normal copays kick in.  I don\'t know anyone else who\'s employer pays 100% of their health coverage.

I have kick ass benefits in all other areas too.. 401k, vision, dental, great holiday bonuses... but alot of other americans don\'t have it as good as I do.

I\'m sure I\'ll see it eventually but I almost look at his movies as fiction.... sorta.

not interested in taking any MM film as factual evidence.  The people he\'s interviewed has said that he strips out only the parts of their discussion to go along with the message HE wants to portray.  Not to mention he\'s always looking like a frothing at the mouth crybaby jackass when he\'s being interviewed.  If he would at least speak calmly & intelligently it would help his argument 1000x.

on healthcare, I have a PPO so I can see anyone I want.  My last doc visit to an ENT specialist I only had to pay $30.  What sucked was waiting 3 weeks for the appt, but it wasn\'t an emergency so eh.

This movie basically shows tales of people being denied their claims for assistance by their full-coverage private health insurers over completely negligable inconsistancies in their insurance paperwork, etc. etc. It shows how the insurance companies do whatever they can to get out of having to pay for life-saving surgery and whatnot, and showed the families of those who have died as a result.

Then compared the systems to Canada, England and France where everything was golden and rosey and everyone was smiles and handshakes.

A huge propaganda fest, but for someone not in the USA it\'d be great to see exactly where the inaccuracies are. If anyone cared to elucidate..

Wish I did. My benefits cost around $300 over two weeks, for simple medical. Not vision and dental, but this is more an issue with where I work than anything.

they are around 180$ for 2 weeks here and cover the whole familly. they cover 80% dental, 80 medicinals, 400$ per 2 year for vision per person and a bunch of other stuff
can\'t see why not!
