Here\'s some news for all you Batman obsessed dweebs:  Finally a superhero movie to look forward to.

Warner Brothers has announce the casting for the movie version of Alan Moore\'s Watchmen, and it looks very appealing.  This might be pretty good:
 
Jackie Earl Haley - Rorschach
Billy Crudup - Dr. Manhattan
Malin Akerman - Silk Spectre
Matthew Goode - Ozymandias
Patrick Wilson - Nite-Owl
Jeffery Dean Morgan - The Comedian

Jackie Earle Haley was nominated for an Oscar last year for little children
Billy Crudup i\'ll aways like because I love Almost Famous
and i\'ve seen Patrick Wilson in Hard Candy and I thought he did a good job

I don\'t really know the other actors but so far it looks to be a pretty nice cast.

Batman Begins and the upcoming Iron Man have the best ensemble casts for a comic book movie imo

I have always been a fan of Jackie Earl Haley since he appeared in "Breaking Away."  He was amazing as the remorseful child molester in the recent film "Little Children."  
 
I always think of Billy Crudup as the leader of the band Still Water from "Almost Famous."  But he has one of those morphable appearances that allows him to play so many different characters.
 
The rest I do not recognize.  That IS a good sign.
