There are some clues that point to Blizzard announcing Diablo III in a couple of days.

Diablo3 might be announced to the Games Convention in Leipzig (August 23-26). Why? Read below

You all remember how the website http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/wrath went to Error 403 Forbidden 3-5 days before annoucement, the diablo3.eu (this url belongs to Blizzard Entertainment) is doing the same thing now, it used to just go to blizzard.com but now its pointing to Error 403 Forbidden (same as Wotlk page before BlizzCon).

Gamasutra reports that Frank Pearce of Blizzard Entertainment has confirmed that the company is working hard on another new title... and it\'s not World of Warcraft or Starcraft II. 40 people are working on Starcraft II and 40 people are working on this secret Team 3 project, so it\'s definitely another big one. According to Pearce, "Team 3 is working on something really awesome. I can’t give you any hints, but it’s totally awesome."

We now have to wait for Games Convention to get a confirmation from Blizzard present at this gaming event (Hall 2 booth E12).

Like we did for BlizzCon, we will cover this event and publish all new infos about WoW (expansion, future patches).

If true I say WOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!! Diablo II is probably one of the most entertaining games ever and I would kill for Diablo III. Please say it\'s true!

DII: It\'s awesome. I bastardized an Elf/Human breed and rolled a pretty good set of stats. Too bad that hard drive crashed on me.

Oh man, Diablo, Diablo 2 and the Lord of Destruction expansion set are some of my favorite games of all time. I remember wasting countless hours in them as a teenager, haven\'t played them in a few years thats for sure but if Diablo 3 gets announced I would have a nerdrection. Diablo was my first PC game and then Diablo 2 was my first online RPG type game.
I really hope this announcement turns out to be true.

Neither do Elf/Human breeds and your players are stored on the servers, not locally, but meh.

what is so good about this diablo game, never played it but many of my friends back when it came out were hardcore players.

I honestly don\'t know why its so addictive, but everyone I know thats played it has gotten hooked, including myself. Although I stopped playing a long time ago.
