In certain Asian countries, Hindu\'s use a reversed swastika symbol. I rented a scooter during my vacation on Bali island and it came with a helmet which featured a swastika sign pointing the other direction. At first I thought it was the crooked Nazi symbol, but i was told it was really Hindu. Seeing the sign incorporated in house decorations and temples, this confirmed the fact that the reversed swastika has nothing to do with Nazi\'s.

This Thai version is of course very wrong and I see they\'ve got it pointing both directions. They definately don\'t know what they\'re actually dealing with.  I know Japanese sub pop culture has some references to Nazi style as well. Maybe this is a rub off from it...

Knotter, the Nazis actually took the swastika from the Hindus. I think it means good luck or good fortune or something. The Hindus use it as a symbol of good and hope and the Nazis ruined it. Damn shame really. That\'s like taking a dove and putting vampire teeth on it and making it evil.
