Steam confuses the crap outta me.

I think you would go to your community tab in Steam - then find "Add friend" or some nonsense. I\'ve never added anyone, other than people who ask me to be added to their list.

Man, don\'t bother with the console versions. So far the 360 version is plagued with problems, the biggest being is that the fact the build released for it is actually a beta build. The last week or so of beta testing had a lot of fixes and improvements patched, by then the 360 version had already went to print. Of course the PS3 version won\'t face that exact problem, but Valve themselves have stated that as far as content / patches go, the console versions are going to lag behind the PC, due to numerous factors
(development costs / porting costs / the fact that each patch has to be submitted to MS / Sony and THEN improved / and the advantage of Steam). Not to mention you\'re going to miss out on a lot of great custom maps.
Jbean, I never finished HL2 due to the fact I found the driving scenes annoying. I own Episode 1, never even made it past the intro, but I\'ve almost completed Episode 2 and loved every single second of it. As for Portal, it is just amazing, I\'ve yet to complete it (Episode 2 , TF2 and work has me tied up).
