WTF is up with your movie collection? Boog & Elliot? What the hell? That movie is called Open Season here. Why the hell did they change the name?

Currently: None....

I left my PS2 at home when I moved to NYC.  All I have is my laptop and a few emulated snes games.  I really should go buy the orange box or something, just don\'t have a lot of time to play games any more.
Wrong. There are two other people who can.

Fastson,

What do you think about your PS3\'s tech quality ; is the fan still running / keeping the machine cool as good as at moment of purchase ? Or does the sound of the fan change over time ? Do you have the machine in a room with a carpet or something like laminate ?

The quality seems to be very high. I think its the first console since the SNES where I\'m not worried about it breaking. :thumb:

Yeah, the fan is still doing as good of job as it was when I got it during the EU launch.
The fan does change speed. After startup its super-silent, then after a while it steps up a notch. Depending on the room temp it can go into an additional mode when I play games or watch movies, but it would step down again if I logged out of the game/movie. The system did this all the time during the summer when it was very hot in the room, but now when its more cold in the air it hasent hit that high fan speed mode.  The sound it makes is audioable during mode "3", but its not as annoying as the high pitch noise which my PC fans make. Instead it sounds like lots of air being pushed out the back, and thats exactly what the system is doing. :D

My PS3 stands on a table made of solid wood, no wall-to-wall carpet.

I\'ve bought quite a few Blu-Ray movies so far. Love High-Def movies. :D

wow, fatson.  you are quite a heavy spender when it comes to entertainment.  Do you work for sony or something?  How you find all the time to enjoy all those movies and games?  Do you even have free time for yourself just to relax and do something else?

Work for Sony? I wish. :thumb:

I catch a movie during the week, often too tired to play anything, that I mostly save for the weekend.
Yeah, I have time to relax.

Movies and games is an expensive hobby, but its currently the only hobby I have so what the heck. I have enough monies to buy this crap and still save something. :)

Lol... says the guy who\'s been here since 2002 (and yeah I know me and Fasty have been here even longer). He already said it\'s his main hobby, so why wouldn\'t he have time to do anything else? It\'s not like he can play games and watch movies all the time. :)

EDIT: I have like 300 movies on DVD btw, that doesn\'t mean I don\'t do anything but watch movies. And in this day and age, 300 isn\'t even that much. I\'m sure Raz or mm have me beat by a couple of thousand.

yeah.  cool.  its just that in my experience, too much movies and videogames can be bad.  Like someone once said in this forum, too much of anything can be bad for you.

But it seems like it took you guys a long time to collect that many dvd, games, etc.  so, its cool.  its not like you guys did that in a short time.
