I might be wrong, but ill definitly be listening to what people are saying before checking it out.

I don\'t think it will be a AAA title,...maybe a strong "B" graded title...like one of those games that doesn\'t take itself too seriously...just a good action romp...

actually, i guess there\'s a 2 camp now ; after having watched more AC and K&L gameplay movies i\'m still anxious for AC and i still feel Kane & Lynch looks pretty lame.

EGM is the only one with a negative article on it, but the whole thing was just bitching and moaning. Apparantly the person who wrote it got dropped on their head and can\'t react quick enough to press B, and he said "its impossible to do something simple because the buttons are RT+A+Right stick"...maybe because moving is left stick and camera is the right?

Only thing that concerned me was that they said doing the missions got repetitive after 3 kills. But seeing as they were getting more and more pissy, they got more and more biased as it went on. So ill judge it for myself. That\'d be why i go mostly by videos, then what the general public says, THEN reviews

I really love the Hitman Bloodmoney game, and i am  why that developer went to such a K&L concept of massive teambased onslaught.

I guess that\'s the fad of everything having to be massive action in next gen ...

Here\'s what I know about the game and I\'ll paraphrase if for the ADD crowd:

The setting is in the present. They are experimenting with DNA memory. They\'ve found a decendant of Altair and are trying to activate the DNA memory of Altair\'s. So you are re-living his past. This way, when you\'ve finished your game, you are now....basically a trained assassin. Without the physical training part which takes a long time.

Kinda Matrix like, huh?

gman, I knew about the DNA thing, but if that\'s really what the ending is (to learn how to be an assassin), what the fuck man...

if i end the game and that turns out to be it, i will ruin any and every game i can for you. Even though that wouldnt give the reason as to why their doing the DNA training thing, it still gives away what the point was of the whole game if they stay ambiguous about it till the end. If they say why you\'re doing it in the beginning, then itll be cool

It\'s ambiguous at best, but what I learned is somewhat true. I\'m sure I left out some huge parts. Remember, everything I\'ve heard has been paraphrased.

The surprises start right off the bat, when you power on the game and spend several minutes second-guessing if they put the right disc in your case. Many of you will have already heard about this opening twist, but if not, I won’t be the one to ruin it for you. Suffice to say, the context in which you find yourself a medieval assassin is more complex than it appears.

[COLOR="White"]I saw on G4 last night, they did a video preview of the game and it had a bunch of digital "matrix like" figures and stuff flashing around random ememies & walls, objects.. .like the world you are fighting in isn\'t real.  She wouldn\'t elaborate what it was or why it was doing it, but she said you find out in the beginning of the game[/COLOR]

Im avoiding spoilers so sorry for ignoring you jbean.

I guess repetitive gameplay is it\'s downside. Think gametrailers gave it a 9.1, got a couple other 9\'s, and a 7 from 1up, most of them referring to the repetition but obviously the 7 thought it was more annoying than the others. Im still confident ill like the game a lot since a lot of games can be looked at as repetitive..plus they said you get what you put into the game. Could probably run past the guards and take out the target every time, but if you put some thought into taking him out it should be fun.

i\'d be lieing if i wasn\'t a little disheartened by everyone pointing out the repetition but..o well..still buying the game
