Power or no power, the PS3 is the GameCube of this generation.

That\'s good, though. I bought the GameCube at launch.

Wii has one good game. And it\'s free.

both games also came out a decent amout of time later than the 360 versions.

But this is irrelevant to how many prospects Cell offers. Also we dont know the exact reasons Sony backed away from Cell. Obviously IBM and Toshiba dont feel that way.

Sony may be just changing strategy plans for their business as a whole. They  shifted people who worked on Cell towards other specific departments. This doesnt necesarrily translate to a waste of time and effort. There are probably mewly appearing opportunity costs involved they had to consider.


As for Cell being a waste of time in the console this is debatable still. Ninja Theory found great uses for Cell\'s SPU\'s as well as Naughty Dog in Uncharted and both games do things that are incredible.

as an owner of all 3 consoles, plus a dislike of all 3 companies, i am impervious.

We\'ve been over this, there are 360 games that look better than on the PS3 - whats your point? You only like to see one side , the PS3 side, as opposed to looking at it from all angles.
