I don\'t care for online play....but the game play is so much better.

you\'re comparing an action/adventure game to a shooter...

anyway, Only thing i found enjoyable about GoW is coop. Versus was alright for like a week...the bow and arrow is a kick ass weapon though

The game play is nearly identical. Only thing different is one is in the future vs monsters, Uncharted in on a tropical island against people and oh...yes...monsters.

the shooting mechanism is practically the same.

the cover system is infinitely better in uncharted.

I\'ve never played gears of war, but i was seriously going to get a 360 just to play it,...but i have seen gameplay videos of uncharted and the gunplay and cover system seemed to be done really well. Will definitely purchase when i get a ps3.

after riding the horse on assassin\'s, im praying the shadow of the collosus team does another sotc game...i heard they were done with SoTC (which sucks), but they might make some mix between ico and sotc. That\'s what im waiting for before getting a ps3..have a feeling that\'s going to be a long time though.

and GoW is not worth 400 bucks..there\'s plenty of other games, but GoW is not as good as people say. it was simply the first next-gen game that looked amazing..come to think of it, no one game is worth a console purchase.

True but it\'s usually that one spectacular game that acts as the final trigger for purchasing the console.
