I\'m trying to submit my entry for this competition at http://www.theveronicas.com.au/nextverse.html

but i have no idea how it works. After entering your details, it says \'your song is sent to lisa and jess for review\' BUT i haven\'t submitted anything in yet.

can anyone help me?

No.that blue box is just filling out your details... doesn\'t say anything about submitting in anything..

it says, record something on youtube, and put that your youtube link into the submission

no. they said the youtube thing is not compulsory

You either type your verse in the place the arrow is pointing to, or sing it on youtube and place the link in the place where the arrow is pointing to.

I suppose you could write the verse, then place the link to youtube. Just incase you don\'t speak/sing clearly enough for them to know what you said.

The Veronicas are 2 aussie chicks. not a band.

uhh, the Veronicas is the band name of those two aussie chicks.

And who knows what they get out of the promotional thing. I\'m guessing its the same street team mentality where you get a bunch of fans, give them a bit of incentive and have them tell everyone they can see. It just doesn\'t quite work here. We\'re all too cynical.

I\'m not promoting them, just hoping to get some help cause i\'m dating a big Veronicas fan who is blackmailing me to help her out with this silly competition.

Have you heard of their music? Its too teeny bopper for my own liking.
