I bought a Wii for my son on the 1st. I emailed the dude on thursday asking for a tracking number. He told me he lost it and that if it wasn\'t here by Friday he would send me another one. (Bullshit) So now he says he sent one out today and the post office told him it will take 2-3 weeks. (Bullshit) He gave me a confirmation #, but I can\'t figure out if it\'s legit or not. It seems totally bogus. In the final email he said he would give me a refund if I wanted one. I said yes and hopefully he will without me having to deal with my bank. Here is his second to last email with the conf #.

I went to the PO today and talked to a supervisor there,he told me they hire temporary help for christmas,they have all sorts of different shipping,priority, express and so on,he said that it could take 2-3 weeks,he also said it could be sitting at your PO and with the # i gave you,you can pick it up,i will give you the # again but you have to understand i have no control over this VH 527 613 615 US

Like i said i spoke to the supv today at my PO,he told me because of the temp help it being the christmas season and very busy the item could still be here,he checked on another 1 that i sent out and the only thing he could tell me was the item was not received and could be sitting here or the buyers PO like i told you he said they have temp christmas help with no experience sorting through packages,if you would like a copy of the shipping information i can fax it to you, i know that wont get it there any sooner but i have no control over the PO,i called UPS for a pick-up today and they came with no scanning gun or labels,if you would like a refund i am willing to do that,maybe you can get one sooner,im really sorry for this

I explained to the dude that I ordered 4 other things on the 1st and I received them all last week. I just need to get my kid a freaking wii. Sucks. I could buy a PS3 so freaking easy.

he seems like an idiot, plus why was something he said on the 4th the same, verbatim, as the 9th, after sending his second er third wii? as dumb as that sounds, it should have a different number if it\'s a different wii..thats what caught my attention the most

how does he instantly lose the tracking number? the number he gave you twice is garbage at the USPS website.

i say he\'s scamming you, claiming it could be sitting at YOUR post office and he has no control over it. lol at ups with no scanner :rofl:

i wouldn\'t even count on him to perform a refund.

I have never, and will never use Ebay.

I don\'t trust people enough.

My mom tried using Ebay ONCE. Never recieved what she bought, and got treated like shit in the process.

If I ever... EVER get the chance to meet the dude that ripped my mom off I will rearrange his face with my boot.

Bottom line. People suck and I don\'t trust them as far as I can throw them.

well, it\'s all about buying from people with good feedback and taking precautions.

ALWAYS demand more expensive packages are shipped via USPS or UPS with delivery confirmation, tracking number and insurance
ALWAYS pay with a credit card that you know will help you fight any kind of fraud. none of this cashiers check, money order, paypal bullshit.
if the seller fucks you over, it\'s the CC company\'s battle, not yours.

i\'ve bought and sold tons of stuff from ebay and never had a problem.

kind of funny. I just bought another one for cheaper and told him to refund my money. he now says "How am I to know you are going to send the other one back?" I told him I\'d refuse delivery and just use his tracking number..

I have never had a problem until now. The guy has a 99% rating with quite a few (Several hundred) sales.

Actually paypal is technically your credit card so even if paypal doesn\'t help me I could still go to my bank and have them dispute paypal.

A buddy of mine went through some bs with a guy that was selling pc phones but he only had 46 feedback. It was all positive but the guy fake sold 5 phones and bought 2g\'s in shit for his car. To get insurance from ebay/paypal the member you bought from needs at least 50 feedback and 98% positive so my buddy got dicked.

What\'s terrible is that the guy got away with it. They have his address and everything but refuse to do anything about him stealing about 1900$.

If you read the insurance that ebay/paypal offer and just buy from users that fit that area ebay is great. I use it all the time.

Its a busy time of year, i have the delivery confirmation and the slip from the PO showing it was sent to your house, i will refund you when it is returned, im sorry i cant refund you until i have the item back, you should have asked me how we would work this out before jumping the gun

Well at least no matter how it plays out you\'ll be able to get your money back. But yea, he definitely sounds like an asshat. As for leaving him negative feedback, he\'ll probably just leave you negative then too for doing nothing wrong. The seller waits for the buyer to leave feedback these days even though the buyers work is done once they\'ve paid. Pretty gay.

Actually 9 days USPS snail mail is not unusual during the holiday season. Is this shipping from far away?

Even still, why anyone would use USPS in December for an item this pricey is beyond me.

In all honesty, if a deal looks too good to be true, it probably is. I had a guy on ebay say he would let me pay whatever I want for a HDTV, only he would only take money orders...

so yeah, i would say one out of every hundred ebay sellers are scam artist (bad ones at that).

Agreed...i never order anything offa the net...it\'s too much bulls**t if a deal goes sour,...i\'d rather deal with the crowds and go pick up my items in person.
Just like how i\'m going to do this weekend.(christmas shopping)...*sigh*..

...and if an item is broken i can just go back to the store and return the item, instead of dealing with some loser that lives in west-bubbla-f**k...
