Gay list time! LIST WAAARZ!!! :fighting:

So which has been the best so far for 2007?

I wanna check if I have missed anything.. Still waiting on No Country For Old Men, need to check that out ASAP. Checking out Eastern Promises tomorrrow. Just saw 3:10 to Yuma which I liked, also Stardust was pretty good.

I recommend Sunshine.. Most people seem to hate it but I really really love this movie.. the soundtrack in it is fantastic.

Just break down and buy an HD player, they\'re cheap enough. Even if you don\'t totally support it, it\'s worth it for that movie. I know if Warners goes Blu Ray for The Dark Knight, as much as I don\'t want to support Sony\'s Blu Ray, I will. I must..own ...every...variation of the Batman films.

I think Bale may be one of the single greatest actors in the past few generations. I need to see Rescue Dawn still.

Bale appeared in a lot of smaller roles before he became an Uber hollywood star.  Did you ever see him in that remake of Shaft from 2000?  That was entertaining.

Yea. I\'ve been watching Bale since he was a child actor.

Best film for me in 2007 was Death Proof by a long shot.  One of those films where you stand up & cheer at the end.  Once it gets going it\'s like it snowballs and only gets better after that.

300 was fun too, made me want to get my 6-pack on. :p

i\'m gonna have to rent "Death Proof" i  was kinda back and forth on deciding to see or not, but i guess i\'ll give it a rent....

On another note i did happen to see rob zombies version of "Halloween" and i gotta admit while his other movies imo have been mediorce to below average, this movie was actually a decent flick....the violence and gore was right where it needed to be and the pace was just right, at which i was kinda shocked at, because most films where you try to show an origin or a beginning the story kinda gets dragged out until the person becomes an adult, then that is usually when the movie starts to become interesting...

But i was pleasantly suprised when the origin of michael myers wasn\'t boring in the least, and he showed very early on, at how evil and twisted michael was even as a little boy all the way up to the point to where he was admitted in the mental facility...gotta give rob zombie his props for this one,..he did a good job with his version of michael myers...

Saw No Country for Old Men tonight.  It was excellent.  The Coen\'s know how to take basic plot-twisting cliches and break them in half.  If you\'re used to their movies you know they can get slow during the character development scenes but the story held my interest 95% of the way through.

End still left me sour though.  It was too real (read: boring), the kind of stuff that only happens with "based on a true story" type of movies.  When I found out it was based on a fictional novel, I felt shafted. :P

Not a date movie or feel-good type of film.  Luckily I know a gay asian male prostitute that can appreciate a well-told story on the big screen with me.
