It\'s about time someone made a thread about the European Championships, even if non of you yanks give a shit. And since the Dutch (yay :)) are absolutely dominating this tournament (I\'m looking at you BizioEE ;)) by defeating the world champions Italy and runner up France (see picture) by 3-0 and 4-1 respectively, I guess I\'ll be the one setting this up.



So what are you\'re thoughts on the tournament so far?

The Holland-France match was great. I rooted for the Dutch as well, so good times all around... they\'ll go far I\'m sure. :)

Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

i root for italy..but theyve started off pretty badly. the netherlands have been kicking ass, murdering france and italy

i only pay attention to these country vs country types of tournaments though so im not that big of a fan of all the players

having said that, holland 4-1 france = :) :) :) :)

holland need to use their heads now and take a dive against romania, that way, both france and italy will be out

I would be way more interested in soccer if I could keep up with it... Theres so many damn tournaments and leagues I can\'t keep up.

I enjoying playing soccer but watching 90 minutes of it is painful. Absolutely the worst spectator sport. Deep down Euro\'s and other crappy countries know the sophistication of North American sports blow their crappy game away so try and hype it up as much as they can.

seriously tho, apparently falling ill to a massive heart attack isn\'t completely rare in the sport. Young healthy guys with no drugs in their system just falling over dead =| very athletic game to play at a professional level.

oh and I think the guy in the video actually died of a brain hemorage or something and not a heart attack. But all the other heart attack videos of soccer players weren\'t as comical and have sarah mclachlan playing in them.

that must have suck dying from a heart attack.  very weird that his heart were beating fine and healthy and then the next sec, he got a heart attack and died from it.

what are the chances of athlete dying from a heart attack.  it\'s extremely rare, but it does happens.
