I finished downloading LBP last night and had a go at it for about 30 minutes until The Office started. I love the game. The tutorials aren\'t boring at all. I can see this as a game that will be years of enjoyment.

after evaluating it for the last few days, I have to say that I changed my view of it, it does offer some entertainment.

however, it just doesn\'t appeal to me that much to make me want to fork out 40 quid for it.

just not my type of game I guess.

It\'s a marvel: a high-res, low-fi animated sketchbook that never fails to delight and astonish

the systems of cogs and tunnels and traps that the Sackboys tumble through are worthy of Nintendo\'s best designs.

LittleBigPlanet is a great platform game. It\'s not a perfect one. It doesn\'t need to be, though, because its creative tools turn it into something else entirely, a unique, hilarious, endless entertainment.

As an endlessly renewable sideshow, a daily source of surprises and silliness, a genuinely new form of interactive entertainment, it\'s a triumph

Evereye Italia reviews Little Big Planet - 10/10. "A small, big revolution"

Quote

The marvel of technical title is interwoven especially with the work style, which has been variously discussed in the preceding paragraphs. The scene is painted in the eyes of the player is a heterogeneous mix of materials, colorful and exuberant, full of brio and energy. Together with lush colors, the sympathy of Sackboy is at the forefront irretire for the player, constantly seduced and flattered by the brilliant simplicity of the forms.

it\'s absolutely fantastic, an instant classic that actually turned out to be better than my expectations. The community and creation stuff was bound to be reason enough to own the game, but the included content put together by Media Molecule is so good that even if the level building tools weren\'t in the picture, this would still be a must-have experience.

Quote

Media Molecule has created a brilliant platformer, and then given you the tools to recreate the whole thing over again, or better yet, to create your own ideas from scratch. It\'s not perfect - the controls could be tighter, automatically shifting between planes can be problematic, the editor isn\'t quite as robust as you might hope - but what\'s there is nothing short of astounding. If you own a PlayStation 3, you cannot miss this. If you don\'t have a PS3 yet, this is the reason to get one.

the beta swayed my opinion of it, but not enough to make me want to buy it.

LBP is a unique game. It disguises itself as a 2D platform game but surprises the players with a set of editing tools and level sharing absolutely amazing. With a distinctive style and an everlasting future potential, we can say that Sackboy already conquered this industry.

LittleBigPlanet is like a magic trick, and in that respect it feels less like a videogame than an incredible concept executed perfectly. LittleBigPlanet is like LEGO (the blocks, not the game), it’s like Monopoly, it’s timeless... it’s lightning in a bottle – and if Sony play their cards right it could well save the PS3, and propel the console into the stratosphere.

Undoubtedly one of the finest games in recent years, LittleBigPlanet deserves every single shred of a 10. You won\'t find a more polished or rewarding videogame this year, and for quite some time we\'d imagine.
