Loved the first Tomb Raider on PSX, and then lost interest.

i think they just announced it not too long ago, so i wouldnt expect it for another couple years. depends whether theyre thinking of multiplayer this time around or not.

my only complaint about uncharted was that the puzzles werent hard enough. the idea of looking at the map/booklet thing as a source of clues were really cool, but it was too "do this"

other than that i loved it

Great pics, even though they\'re small, I\'m surprised at how good they do look. One of the amazing things about Uncharted\'s graphics is 95% of the time the closer you\'d get to a texture, the better it would look. Not many games you can say that about. I don\'t think there\'s any way this game is going to pull that off.

Besides after the major burn that was AOD, the only way I\'m getting excited for another TR game before it releases is if Laura shows me some nipple.

legend wasn\'t all that bad of a game. At least I was able to sit it through to the end. Let\'s hope this one builds on that...

Yes, this Tomb Raider is looking very good but all in all I don\'t think it will come close to the beauty of Uncharted.
And I\'m with you about the textures in Uncharted, they are beautiful , and when you get closer to most of them, they become amazing, impressive, almost photorealistic! ...and lighting shading are amazing too.
Naughty Dog said they used around 30% of Cell power/resources with Uncharted, and now they are working hard on the sequel trying to squeeze MORE and MORE the Cell. And the RSX will find heavy optimization too.  
I really can\'t wait for the sequel of Uncharted(I feel it will make me cry) and I think it will come out in Dicember 2009 (just a bet).

It\'s going to be extremely hard for naughty dog to top uncharted(graphic-wise)...to this day even when i\'ve beaten it a couple of times already...i\'m still impressed with the graphics as if i\'m playing it for the first time...Lara\'s ok...i think legend helped to put her back to some point of respectability,...her novelty might be wearin\' off....alot of us who grew up with TR was amazed at a female lead with tit-tays back in tha day.

And Eidos ran that concept into the ground,..now you have other female characters (tho alot are not in leading roles) but now they look just as good or better than lara....and have a better personality...in alot of thr TR games i could barely understand some of the dialogue because of the strong british accent...the new trailer has lara blowin\' up her mansion and givin\' her a sort of "badass" attitude,..we\'ll see if this game is enough to revive her career,...but angel of darkness was also supposed to be the reinventing of lara with a darker side and bad attitude,..and we all know how that piece of garbage turned out...

Well, I understand you, I finished Uncharted 8 times, now playing again after a stop of one month and half, and it\'s looking better than before, I don\'t know why...impressive. But don\'t forget that Naughty Dog is always finding new ways and optimization to improve the quality of their titles.
Crash on PSX was VERY good as it came out, then Crash 2 was even better in everything and Crash 3 was again better in the graphics department, really impressive.
The same was for J&D on PS2.  Now we have just to see how much they will improve over graphics, scale, animations, AI.   I know, looking at Uncharted seems impossible to imagine improvements in textures and lighting, but these guys know their stuff and they make miracles in coding Cell/RSX.
