I only ever onwed 1 fifa football game, and it was utter wank, put me off buying any more altogether.

once you\'ve played one EA sports game, you\'ve pretty much played them all, they go overboard on graphics, at the expense of physics and gameplay.

EA sports is way better than the others at soccer, hockey, and baseball

i\'ll give you hockey after nhl 08 and now 09.  but you can\'t tell me ea knows baseball better than scea with mlb the show.

mvp 05 was easily my favorite baseball game ever. EA hasnt made a baseball game in a long ass time because of legal reasons. I thought 2k bought the rights, but scea is making games too so i dunno how it works

i played the demo, which was alright. the animations just seem off to me especially fielding in the outfield.

2k7 i bought and it was a good step foreward, but 2k8 was horrendous (only played the demo). i like the idea of something new besides hitting a button to swing the bat.

I ask because just about everyone who\'s played MLB the Show seems to rave about it, even none baseball fans, calling it best game ever and so on. To the point where I\'m tempted to give it a try when normally I never give sport titles a second thought.

The last football video game I had fun playing was in the 8 bit era. Xs and Os for players, pick the play with a joystick :nerd:

soccer games always do that since the camera has to be really high to be able to play the game.
