I don\'t play sports games much. But I have played a bit of some boxing and NFL that EA Sports has pooped out.

EA sports is way better than the others at soccer, hockey, and baseball

2k is a lot better at basketball

football is 50/50 with people. I like madden for the most part, but there are definitly big enough problems that they dont fix that kept me from getting 09. especially the CB\'s warping in front of recivers for INT\'s, and LB\'s still jumping 10 feet in the air to get int\'s on passes that are thrown to recievers 20 yards downfield

I thought Pro Evolution was the best soccer game?

Haven\'t played it myself but a couple friends I have that are way into soccer say FIFA sucks compared to Pro Evolution.

that\'s what i heard..but i guess FIFA changed and seems like more people like fifa 08 than pro evo. I only played fifa 08, and not PES. Was good, but i get bored when i dont know all the players, so i never bought the game.

Well, true apart from...FIFA 08 :)

PES was always the best soccer game, but FIFA 08 really improved a lot since previous FIFA games, while PES 08 just got little improvements over an already well established great gameplay.   All in all there\'s not a clear winner for all I read, though people still believe fifa is far behind...anyway FIFA 08 was the best fifa game with the most improvements, and PES 08 a great soccer game, as usual.
