Very well articulated actually.
Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

Because Hollywood Joe Schmo knows any more than anyone else about politics. Damon isn\'t in politics nor has he ever sat in an office. His opinion is just as valid as yours or mine. That\'s like me telling someone how to fix a car when all I know how to do is change my oil and air filter.

So he doesn\'t know much about Palin and therefore shouldn\'t be VP?

Matt, please die.

she\'s a creationist, or in the least doesn\'t object to the very idea. That\'s enough for me to warrant her incapable. I think Damon makes a very valid point.

He has a good point, sure. I wonder what names Giga would think to call him if he aired those opinions here instead of on YouTube.

Besides, Palin was EXECUTIVE, so it doesn\'t really matter if she\'s got her head in the sand. Having one\'s head in the sand is apparently what makes a good executive anyway. Nonetheless, we can\'t deny that the word executive just sounds so friggin important when profiling a person. I\'d go so far as to say that she\'s very executive. Executive.

Matt, please die.
He\'s simply stating concerns that any rational thinking voter should have about Sarah Palin becoming president.  Do you have no concerns whatsoever?  If so, I seriously question your rationality.

Care to refute anything he said?

Just about every elected leader who happened to be a devout Christian knew where to draw the line between religion and politics. I doubt dinosaurs will have any impact on her political stance. I\'m a religious person. I know dinosaurs were around 65million yrs ago. I know humans breeded with neanderthals. I know the Earth is around 4 billion years old.

You know what? A LOT of religious people think like this.

You may want to put on a tin foil hat if you think Palin might turn you into a religious zealot.

He does make one really really good point. The idea of something happening to John McCain and having President Palin have to go up against someone like Vladimir Putin.

It is insane to think that this woman has the skills to play ball with someone like that. I\'m not even American, but that doesn\'t matter because the choice that gets made in November touches the entire world and EVERYONE is gonna have an opinion. Especially after watching the completely stupid choice Americans managed  to make twice in the past 8 years.

I wanted Clinton for president and now that she is out the only person I see qualified for the job is indeed John McCain. But his choice of VP is fucking dumb. It really is a shame that McCain had to pick Palin simply to get votes (if you think he picked her for any other reason, thats delusional thinking) and that he couldn\'t pick someone more suited for the job, someone more reliable.

Actors giving advice on politics is pretty stupid. As if Mr Ripley here is a political expert or something. But as I said, he does make a good point in saying Palin as a President and having to deal with men like Putin really is truly a scary thought.

No he isn\'t, and I don\'t think Obama vs Putin is a much better scenario.

I really do think McCain is the man for the job...but god dammit I wish he was just a decade younger. Cause if he does get elected and something happens to him and all of a sudden Sara Palin is the president...well I just don\'t see America moving forward as a country with that woman.

and I don\'t care if I sound like a pussy. The whole thing with Russia lately has been scary. They seem itching for a reason to fight with America and the leader of the most powerful nation in the world has to be ready to deal with this sleeping giant. I don\'t think Palin is that leader. The only 2 dudes I like in this election is Biden and McCain. Don\'t care much for Obama and Palin.

She\'s actually quite on the path as John McCain. She\'s becoming a moderate Repub. At least this article seems to allude to that. Perhaps leaning more towards the Dems agenda on taxing the oil companies.

Quote
ANCHORAGE — Weeks after taking office as Alaska\'s governor in December 2006, Sarah Palin vetoed a bill that sought to ban benefits for the same-sex partners of state workers. It was unconstitutional, she said.
This year, she rebuffed religious conservatives who wanted her to add two abortion restriction measures to a special legislative session on oil and gas policy, even though she supported the bills. Former aide Larry Persily said she didn\'t want to risk offending Democrats, whose votes she needed on energy legislation.

INTERVIEW: Palin says she is \'wired\' to be VP

Since Republican presidential candidate John McCain picked Palin as his running mate, much attention has been focused on her deeply conservative social views — including her opposition to abortion even in cases of rape and incest and her attendance at a church that promotes the "transformation" of homosexuals through prayer.

But in her 21 months as governor, Palin has taken few steps to advance culturally conservative causes. Instead, after she knocked off an incumbent amid an influence-peddling scandal linked to the oil industry, Palin pursued a populist agenda that toughened ethics rules and raised taxes on oil and gas companies.

So having faith and being a Christian is bad eh?  Not that she believes in Creationism, but you lefties need to get over this fear of Christianity and the fact that a candidate does have faith.

Speaking of which, ABC tried to set Palin up over a "God" quote she gave, when she was quoting Lincoln.  Doh - talk about a backfire.

Damon sounds like a raving lunatic in that video - typical Hollywierd idiot.  Like I said, he should stick to acting and keep his misinformed and slanted comments on politics to himself.

Yeah Biden would be great.

Biden living up to his gaffe-prone reputation

Just this week, he mused that Senator Barack Obama might have been better off with Hillary Rodham Clinton as his running mate.

"Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America," Biden said Wednesday in Nashua, New Hampshire. "Quite frankly it might have been a better pick than me."

Earlier in the week, in Columbia, Missouri, Biden urged a paraplegic state official to stand up to be recognized.

"Chuck, stand up, let the people see you," Biden shouted to State Senator Chuck Graham, before realizing, to his horror, that Graham uses a wheelchair. "Oh, God love ya," Biden said. "What am I talking about?"

Yeah we want this dope to negotiate with Putin.  He has no self confidence and he is dumb.
