How often do you guys play a particular game?....myself when it comes to big adventure games...uncharted, metal gear, silent hill, RE...i\'ll ususally play them once, finish it, and then i\'ll try to go back and play it again at least within 4 - 6 months....After playin\' long games like that i just can\'t turn around and play it again to try to get all of the extras...i\'ll let it marinate for few months, so that when i do go back to it, it\'ll still seem fresh...wierd i know but to me it gives the game longer lasting power....

To this day i\'m still impressed with uncharted, as if it was my first time playing it, and i\'ve only played twice since picking it up early last year. Now there are games that i do play on a daily basis, and these are games that i can get a quick 10 - 20 minute burst out of...and these are mostly sports games...currently i\'m playin\' espn nfl 2k5 (because of football season of course) but as soon as the season is over...that game will collect dust until the season comes around again.

A few other games that gets a daily cranking is tekken 5, fight night rd2 and smackdown vs raw 06. This is gettin\' a bit long but i\'m just wonderin\' what are your playin\' habits?....:fro:

I\'ll get a new game, play it through to the end usually, or until the next new game comes along, and then it usually gets shelved pretty much forever.

There are exceptions and sometimes my girlfriend will dust off and old one and we\'ll play that. It\'s kind of sad. I wish I had more free time so I could finish things like GTA4...

Then to read how many cool games there are this holiday season alone. There\'s not enough hours in the day!

i do the same thing as you do on the big games, clips. I\'ve played through uncharted and MGS4 twice now..probably going to be a long time till i play them again. maybe when uncharted 2 and the next MGS game are coming out ill play them to get back in the mood.

shooters i usually play the story once, and that\'s it. then ill play multiplayer every now and then.

sports games i get antsy to finish a season so i play it a bunch..then i never feel like starting another one when im done with the first one

I\'m a twice over kind of guy with any big single player game. Anything over two and it\'d have to be a pretty special game by my high standards like a Mario 64/Galaxy or an Ocarina Of Time. I\'ve played Mario RPG a ridiculous amount though. Everything about that game just makes me happy whenever I play it.

My friends are pretty seasonable with sports game. We\'ll play Madden on Saturdays, NHL Live in the weekdays (I\'d prefer a NBA game but no one plays bball here), and we\'ll always dabble in some Mario Kart and Smash Bros here and there.
Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

Generally I start playing at normal difficulty, finish the game and after one week I start again at higher difficulty, finding more extras.
I did it with MGS4, did it with Uncharted, and now playing LBP = digital drug.

If it\'s a long game then I usually just take my time and play it the once, but shorter games (e.g., 5-10 hours) I\'ll play through multiple times over a few years. There are exceptions, like my twice through Skies of Arcadia.

I\'m currently putting in a lot of time on Banjo Nuts & Bolts-- I\'m going to complete it 100%.
