Some final thoughts...

No I want you to go back to that point.

Limbaugh=most popular radio host, something you think should have relevance and support his reputation.

Obama=favored by most media outlets, but the liberal media bias should somehow discredit CNN, NBC, majority of newspapers, etc.

What were you getting at?

That was exactly my point.  People legitimize Obama because of his popularity with the MSM.  So I tried the same tactic with Rush Limbaugh, and it failed.  People are treated like criminals for speaking out against Obama, but are patted on the back for smearing McCain or Palin.

Examples:

Joe the Plumber - asked Obama about wealth redistribution, and the media has dug into every last detail of the guys life to make him look like a scum bag

Barbara West - ask Biden questions about socialism.  Biden flipped out on her and got the big guns to dig up everything they could about her, try and destroy her credibility.

Sarah Palin - went from successful Alaska governor to devil woman within a week.  I still add, she\'s the only person on either ticket with executive experience.

Rush Limbaugh - you disregard him cause he\'s not in the tank with the rest of the media, despite the fact that he\'s been speaking the truth since the 70\'s.  He\'s controversial, no doubt, but he knows how things work.

There is no mistake, the MSM has made it a crime to speak out against Obama.  I can\'t wait til he\'s in office and we can give him the GWB treatment.  I can\'t wait for him to take office and for him to be exposed for the fraud his is.

My lone solace is this.  It took Jimmy Carter to give us Ronald Reagan, the greatest president of the 20th century.

Yeah Limbaugh is a joke....

"Barack Obama wants to use the law to destroy private property. This is what he means, when he attacks businesses large and small, when he insists that there must be limits on what you can earn and keep and pass on to your family when you pass away. He wants the government to control your private property, your income, your assets."

You\'re lookin\' way too deep into this,..the only thing he\'s doin\' is raisin\' taxes on the wealthier folks in the country...he\'s attacking businesses large and small?.....limits on what you can earn?...they are already paying taxes and these companies and or people can make as much money as they want....just like when i work overtime, the more i make the more the gov\'t takes,...he\'ll just be takin\' a little bit more from the wealthy, that\'s all.

I guess you missed the audio clip where he attacks the bill of rights and calls them a charter of negative liberties.

You used popularity as a reason to validate Limbaugh but you never even consider the accusations from the MSM because of supposed liberal bias. Every link ever posted in this forum is invalid for some inane reason.

The MSM reports the people btw, and the people want ZOOOOMGABA.

Right... I was trying to do the same thing except with Limbaugh... to see if you would bite, and you did.  Congrats.

It reports what they want to show people.  The LA Times is witholding a video that would hurt the Obama campaign until after the election.  That\'s fair.

The people "wanted" Kerry in 2004 and they got GWB instead...

Yeah, me bite, me post liberal bias accusations in the same fucking post.

I accused the forum of back and forth bickering using the same idea.

I was just poking fun at the "conservative propoganda" and "liberal media bias" arguments.

Anytime something gets posted the other side just inserts key and boom ignorance.

But this whole thread was an attempt to get me to bite at something I frequently point out right?

You don\'t actually believe any of it right?

Not the whole thread, just the comment about Limbaugh\'s popularity.

The one thing I liked about you was that at the time you seemed nonpartisan.  You left that behind in the thread.

"Khalidi is a professor of Middle East Studies at Columbia University and a longtime friend of Obama\'s. Khalidi has publicly criticized Israel, but he and Obama have both said they hold very different opinions on Israeli issues."

"In a story published in April, the Times said Obama spoke out at the event on the need for common ground on the Israel-Palestinian issue. Obama has said during the campaign that his commitment to Israel\'s security is "nonnegotiable."

There goes that..

McCain also has ties to Khalidi through a group Khalidi helped found 15 years ago. The Center for Palestine Research and Studies received at least $448,000 from an organization McCain chairs.

The thing I dislike about you is we\'re right back at the beginning of every argument.

Who\'s right?

Rush or CNN?

It depends on how you see it.  Again, lets just agree to disagree.

I used to see things from a liberal perspective, but then I entered the real world and now I classify myself as libertarian/conservative, and you\'ll never be able to change my political views, and I acknowledge I\'ll never change yours.

End of story.

Mr. Kennedy, you have been saying over and over that you can\'t wait until Obama is in office and blows up the country, so he will be revealed as a fraud, and you can say "I told you so."

What if that doesn\'t happen?  What if you and millions of other Americans put your tax cut to good use, and the economy recovers, and we withdraw from Iraq, and our standing in the international community improves dramatically?

Will you be man enough to come back here and admit you might have blown things out of proportion?  Or will you be like Giga and just find more little details to complain about?  In other words, is it really the end result you care more about, or your ideology and the importance of being right?

I\'m not making any guarantees, I\'m just asking what if?

If my life gets better, and by that I mean, lower taxes, an end to the war in Iraq, and the economy booms, then I will admit I am wrong.  But if his family doesn\'t get taken care of, how am I supposed to believe he will take care of his citizens?

Are you paying more taxes now then you were in 2000 Core?  Did you not receive a stimulus check?  People like you keep insisting the middle class didn\'t receive any tax relief from Bush and that only the rich did.

Bullshit.  I am paying less taxes now then I was eight years ago.  Notice how Nobama\'s threshold for rich keeps getting lower and lower?  $250k to $150K - the man is a liar and hasn\'t the first clue about economics.  You don\'t raise taxes on anyone in a recession.  Haven\'t we already learned this from history?
