The compilation will feature the !best first-party games from Sega\'s respected 16-bit Mega Drive years," says Sega, as well as bonus Master System and 1980\'s arcade era games. Let\'s hope this is reasonably priced - we can get Gears of War 2 for £40.
"Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection is a must-have for any Sega enthusiast," commented Gary Knight, European Marketing Director for Sega Europe. "Fans will get a chance to relive fond memories from these classic games in HD format."
Featured games include; Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2 and 3, Columns, Alien Storm, Ecco the Dolphin, Space Harrier, and Streets of Rage 1, 2 and 3.
All the retro games can be viewed in 720p, and sound very much like the XBLA ports of various Mega Drive games - no surprise seeming as the same developer, Backbone Entertainment, is taking care of this pack.
It\'s out in early 2009. £19.99 or no buy, Sega.
Update: Because we were wondering, Sega\'s confirmed via e-mail that Trophies and Achievements will be included for the retro titles.
