A lot of the games listed are so common, you could easily find 50 copies for sale at anytime on eBay for less than $20...

Games that should be treasured forever are rare/expensive ones...

My list:

Silent Hill 3 - Try finding this game ANYWHERE...even eBay has very few copies and they go for at least $40 used...I was lucky to find one for $40 brand new and it includes the soundtrack...

Panzer Dragoon Saga - The crown jewel of any US Saturn collection going for $100 easily...only 10,000 copies were released so I bet any used copies on eBay were probably won by the current owner by bidding on eBay from the previous owner who got his copy from eBay from another previous owner...

Shenmue 2 DC - Probably same as PDZ
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

I don\'t trade games in, but if I did, I could pare my collection down to just a handful of titles that I really ever go back to.

I\'d keep Mario platformers from Mario Bros. through Super Mario Galaxy. I\'d keep Donkey Kong Country and probably Dr. Mario 64 and WCW vs. nWo Revenge. I\'d keep Guitar Hero, too, and I guess Wii Sports since that has zero trade in value and is fun for people new to games.

Suppose that\'s it. It\'s an insult to so many good games, isn\'t it?

Sure, if you like looking at the market value of the game more than actually, you know, playing them.  I don\'t want to have to go onto ebay if I have an urge to play a game.

Its called nostalgia, get some.
Wrong. There are two other people who can.
