Failed IP Address
« on: January 07, 2009, 10:48:20 AM »
So I played my SOCOM last night without a problem. I try again today and now my PS3 isn\'t able to find an IP address and times out. My internet is a wired connection and my laptop works just fine. Any clue why it crapped out on me all of a sudden?

Is it me? Or does PSone own all the other systems?

happens every once and a while to me.  I reboot and it\'s fine.  I wonder if it\'s because the router reset and the PS3 lost it\'s IP or something.
I wear a necklace now because I like to know when I\'m upside down.

havent had that happen. do your wired pc\'s lose their IP\'s too?

maybe the wireless stuff on the router is strong enough but your wires are having a problem. we had to have my cable company replace our cables a couple times because of connection problems

(unless im off-base thinking you use your laptop wirelessly and everything else wired)
