Y\'know,... i hate video cam type movies. What i hate even more is video-cam type movies with an absurd amount of shaky camera effects to make the action seem like it\'s intense, and this movie does this to the point to where you CANNOT see what the f**k is going on...seriously everything is a frantic blurry mess when the action starts...

I don\'t know why movie directors and producers think that dismal effect for an action sequence is great. And the female lead in this film is annoying as hell throughout the whole movie, especially when things started to get crazy...i was hoping for all of the characters to get killed in this movie...yep i was rooting for the other team in this one...that\'s how idiotic the characters were.

If you haven\'t figured it out by now, stay away from this garbage of a movie...i rented another movie called "midnight meat train" and while that movie didn\'t have academy award material, it was lightyears ahead of this bulls**t-a$$ of a movie...avoid at all costs.

It might be a way to keep the gore implied, earning the film a more accessible PG-13 rating. Not sure if that\'s the case here, but that happens.

Also, Midnight Meat Train? Was that your wife\'s choice?

Meh...to each his own..i\'m not a fan of shaky camera horror films....those type of cheesy effects are a cop out for them to supposedly be action sequences.

The whole shaky camera thing turns people off. I can see why. My wife hates any movie done like that, whereas I don\'t even really notice it.

What I liked about Quarantine was it had such a claustrophobic feel to it, and the whole idea of all the people outside keeping them in... Just good, creepy stuff.

And yeah, the last scene was super tense.

The movie was ok, nothing great. From the very beginning I hoped the lead girl would die. So I liked the ending. They killed the entire cast, I liked that.

There\'s no denying that the movie had uneasy and tense atmosphere...and that scene that involved the old lady and that firefighter in the beginning was great, and they showed everything with none of that silly shaking camera effect....it was one of those "oh s**t!!...wtf?!"..moments...

.. if the rest of the action scenes were done in similar fashion, i would\'ve liked it a bit more.

randomly got around to seeing this tonight

i thought it was pretty good, but the ending. yea the sequence was cool, but who the fuck shows the last second of the movie in the trailer. I havent seen the trailer in ages and I still remember it, let alone if i saw it when it came out, so when she was on the ground I knew exactly what was going to happen
