The Skinny on PSU\'s Review:
   We like                                    

• The new training modes for Road to the Show
• The hot shot and bobble fielding situations
• The lighting and precise detail of the stadiums

   We dislike                                  

• That online play isn’t as fluid as it needs to be right now

                         
The skinny on G4TV\'s(Adam Sessler):
Good:

• Great presentation
• Fluid animations
• Player models are identical to their real life counter-parts

Bad:

• Only gripe was the lack of analog control that is found in most Sports titles today.

The skinny on PSX Extreme\'s Review:
Good:

• Even more presentation improvements off of the stellar MLB 08
• Improved mechanics for the in-field and out field
• Makes use of 1080p and 60 FPS
• Additional features of the RTTS are impressive

Bad:

• Couldn\'t find anything ><

The skinny on IGN\'s Review:
Good:

• Very consistent sport franchise
• Improved changes to franchise mode
• Deep gameplay elements

Bad:

• Some issues with RTTS and Online play hold this back

The skinny on GameDaily\'s Review: (Very short review)
Good:

• Praises all modes offered in MLB 09: The Show

Bad:

• The required 5 GB install is a downer

Good:

• Better pitching mechanics
• Subtle changes improve the game all around
• Every mode out-performs MLB 2k9

Bad:

• The menus to navigate can be tiresome
