That was pretty awesome. Anytime the bad guy gets hoisted by a meat hook through the eyesocket, the fight can\'t be all bad.

Star Trek was just from another time when people were more active with their imaginations and felt the need to explore the unknown and think of the possibilities therein. Today everyone is just critical of everything and instead of wanting to go do, we spend too much time asking "why bother?" You can see this in the TV shows that were on then, Out Limits, Star Trek, Twilight Zone and the cheesy sci fi/horror films of that day. Today it\'s all about personal drama (fake or otherwise) on Survivor or the Bachelor or American Idol.

Don\'t get me wrong, I appreciate LOADS of TV on these days, but the generational gap is way too huge for so many to even appreciate what Star Trek is really about. We\'ll see though with this new movie. Maybe Abrams has the perfect method to present such old lofty ideas to a new generation. We\'ll see in May. I\'ll be there day 1 that\'s for sure.

And Terminator looks fantastic. Haters be damned!

I don\'t normally follow what film reviewer say, but what I do is use this guy as a quick litmus test to get a flavor of a film before I part with hard cash.
