I think that is one, if not the best looking box art designs I have seen on PS3 to date.

Well maybe they\'re reacting to fans who have played the demo...wasn\'t some of you guys in here complaining about the handling of the cars? This game better be the simulation to end all of simulation racers..this game has been in production since the ps3 dropped....i still plan on getting it tho....and i\'m not really worried about quality here...i popped in grand turismo 3 in my ps2 just the other day and that game still looks great even by today\'s standards.

Polyphony Digital is seriously the most inefficient game developer known to man, well maybe second only to George Broussard.

Taking longer than 3 years to develop a game when you already have 4 under your belt is the work of satan herself.  What a waste of time and money.  How can Sony keep funding them to delay & delay?

Fixed it for you.

IMO, they can delay all they want. When the will be out, you know your 60$ will be well worth the investment for years to come. Can\'t say that for many games.
can\'t see why not!

I don\'t know if they want to launch GT5 3D for the next Holiday season, it would be a Crazy HIT to put against Halo Reach(with or without 3D).   I know, it\'s getting annoying when you want and want to play this game, and then it get delayed, but Sony do care about their business, and other great games are going to be released between Jen and April, and many many games in general.   I\'m saying it with a tear on my face, but next fall would be the best time for Sony :) to Launch GT5 with the possibility of 3D.  My opinion.

Good point & that\'s what I\'m hoping for, a game with a looong life (not another GT4 or GT5 Prologue).  It will be 5 years in April since they allegedly began working on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gt5#Development

So if it\'s only slightly better than Forza or simply matches GTR2 as a sim then IMO they could have managed this project much better.  They had 4 previous games to perfect & tweak their system.  Guess I\'m just curious or antsy about what has been taking them so long.

I was getting a strong desire to play this game, but after doing the time trial demo again and spinning out everywhere I lost it

how can it be financially worth it to spend this much time and money on the game. UC2 and KZ2 sold decently, but nothing amazing (arguable disappointing), which is what GT5 would need to make up for all the money spent on developing it. Unless they plan to release stuff that is cheap to make after it\'s released, and sell that for a huge profit then maybe theyll make up for it. But I dont think theyre going to sell enough copies of the actual game.

after playing the demo quite a lot, I\'ve found myself adapting to the twitchiness of the cars. although it\'s still very twitchly, it\'s nowhere near as difficult as it was.

to be honest, I\'m getting fed up of seeing nordschleife and tokyo r246 videos, it\'s about time PD released videos of some of the other tracks in action

I have a better chance of getting struck by lightning before this game is released.

It\'s really ridiculous how long they have developed this game.  I mean I doubt if it will beat any of the GTA\'s, the Call of Duties, etc...  And they send out new ones virtually every year.
