How is it CNN is reporting this today when TMZ, of all places, has been saying it for weeks?

probably because TMZ has leeway to give out false information

cnn probably has a bunch of bureaucratic hoops and ladders to go through. happened after everyone announced gore president

but this doesnt really change anything. i didnt care much, but people who did cared more about his past influences than his present. in the present he was a wack-job..now hes just a wack-job that OD\'d.

The same reason TMZ reported his death at least 2 hours before anyone else was willing to confirm it.

They are a tabloid and are not held to the same standards as major news outlets.

Plus they hire some of the best(read, ppl with little to do in life but sit and wait around)

fucker has been dead for 2 months already. king tut had his tomb cut and was mummified in less time.

They are building a mausoleum for him, papa Jackson wants to make some more monies off Michael.
