Top Hand Rodeo Tour Announced for PSN and PlayStation Move

Hey guys, Chris here from Perpetual FX. We’re really excited to finally announce what we’ve
been working on exclusively for PSN: Top Hand Rodeo Tour! We are creating something no one has ever seen before, as there has been no rodeo game that will compare visually and from a gameplay standpoint.

Here’s a sneak peak of what it will take for you to become the top hand. Check it out!

With Top Hand Rodeo Tour, we really wanted to bring the full experience of professional rodeo to anyone and everyone asrealistically as possible. That’s why we chose to work with the PlayStation Move motion controller.

Everything in the game you play, see and hear was created from scratch and designed from the ground up for a completely fresh take on the modern face of rodeo. We have a ton planned for the game, including a variety of white-knuckle events like calf roping and team roping. We also are currently working on never-before-seen barrel and mounted shooting mechanics and track configurations, all of which will be playable in highly competitive online and local multiplayer.

For those of you who really want to channel your inner-cowboy, you’ll be able to customize your cowboy, cowgirl and horse visually, as well as upgrade and customize their statistics helping you down the line as the levels get better and faster.

Bottom line, we couldn’t be happier about working exclusively with Sony and using PlayStation Move to bring you guys and girls the most unique take on rodeo this side of the Rio Grande. Let us know what y’all think and be sure to check out our website for more information.

I\'m gonna buy the move. Not on day one but shortly after (next payday actually). There are plenty games that will be patched including PSN games. I have a 4y old boy he\'s gonna be introduced to games with the move

My wife really wants move, and I\'ll buy it on day one.  I\'ll try as well

I went out and bought it yesterday finally, with an extra move controller. I played most of time on VolleyBall and was satisfied with only that. The controller itself feels really good in the hand. Its surpassingly lightweight. The glowing bubbles are weird and my neightbours must really wonder what the heck I am doing jumping around with glowing balls in my living room.

My most anticipated mini-games were volleyball and table tennis. I was really impress with volleyball, the game is fun and you can really direct the ball (playing with 2 controller) where you want. I was also happy with the velocity of your hits been represented quite well

I didn\'t like table tennis has much as I though I would. I\'ll try again tonight, maybe playing against the computer instead of my GF will change my point of view.

Gladiator game was kinda cool. I didn\'t expect anything, like I didn\'t even know it was in untill I read out loud to my GF the content of the box. There are a couple nice move and I complete some nice fight. My scores were low so I guess it can be even better when you master the dodge and parries.

I\'ll download planet mini-golf this week and wait patiently for more game to come out

[size=+1]PlayStation Move - 470,000 Units [/size]

Following a solid initial launch, VGChartz can reveal that as of October 9th over 470,000 units of Move hardware have now been sold in the Americas and EMEAA. Another statistic of interest is that over 600,000 individual Move controllers have now been sold in total (bundles and stand-alone), 130,000 of which are serving as 2nd, 3rd or 4th controllers for the 470,000 unique Move customers. Around 42% of Move sales are coming from the Americas with the remainder from EMEAA.

Sports Champions (bundled with the Move pack in America and with some hardware packs in Europe) has now sold over 380,000 copies, still selling at over an 80% attach rate and the key driver for initial Move hardware sales.

"My arms are sore from playing the Gladiator game. My shirt was soaking from sweat."

That was 2 weeks ago. Been playing it everyday. Especially Disc Golf. I\'ve actually toned my arms from this game. I play Gladiator left handed coz I don\'t want to be a one armed goon.

The motion with these controllers are quite precise.

Played Tennis Table a bit, it\'s funny, I\'ll try more tonight. I bought too many games lately...no enough time for the motion.

Played a bit more Sports Champions, it\'s funny. I like Tennis Table and Disco Golf, spent 2 hours today on both. I think I will buy a second motion controller to have more fun with the Gladiator.
