I hope they do the squad based gameplay and I hope they do it well. But since they probably wont diverge too far from halo gameplay, I\'m not that excited about it.

Much of this game has yet to be revealed, but it seems Microsoft & Bungie are wasting no time keeping the hype train running full speed ahead. The title, which will be a prequel to the original Halo: Combat Evolved, was originally slated for a "Fall 2010" release. Like most Halo titles, Reach will launch at the beginning of the Fall Season:

September 24, 2010 to be exact.

I got mine preordered since best buy was giving 20 buck gift cards, on top of 500 points (10 buck gift cert.) for getting it there. It may not be the deepest game but its definitly fun with friends.

Played halo 3 tonight, one last time, with some people and took some screens that i put way too much time into,haha. so im going to post them..but they really need to make the halo theater a lot quicker/easier to use.










on to halo reach...


(and no, we werent going in formation...you have to ride as a group or you\'ll die. took a while to beat since theres always one person to fuck it up)

Nice pics Viper, I played a bit Halo3 DeathMatch some months ago, with 3 friends, it was funny(split screen).
I\'m going to buy Halo Reach Bundle, as I go Home, could be October.

pretty fun. was what I was expecting

They kind of toned down the melee, so the usual \'take down the armor with your clip and melee to kill them\' move doesnt work like the past games..not necessarily a good or bad thing, just different.

If you hated halo before this probably isnt your game. But the power ups definitely add a really cool element to the game. I was skeptical about the rocket packs but they work well, and even ones like the invincibility where you just kneel and cant move is actually pretty handy if you use it right.
