Uninstall Firefox, then reinstall?

And just throwing this out there, but you\'ve mentioned having multiple compy problems... maybe it\'s time to reinstall the OS, or upgrade to Win7?

reinstalling it didnt work. Was hoping it was something in the options but i cant find it. Do you have 3.5? and is everything working as normal?

after my huge ass problems I had with vista (locking up constantly), these dinky problems with xp are just fine with me. Plus I dont think reinstalling the OS will fix any of the problems I\'m having.

I do want windows 7 but I\'m not up for dropping that kind of money. and theres the chance ill have the same lockup problems I had with vista since I never figured out why it locked up

I have FF 3.5.7.  Works dandy at home & work.

Try uninstalling all of your add-ons first.  Then use revo uninstaller to completely get rid of Firefox:

It\'s free.  Uninstall it via that program and then reinstall.
