So how bad has youtube gotten since Google took over?  I know they are trying to do whatever they can to make money on the thing, but damn the ads are getting ridiculous all over the video.  How does hulu do what they do?  Do they just pay for the rights with the ad money that appears right before the videos?  That\'s a heck of a lot better than filling the screen with the crap that Google is doing.

I think the on-video popup ads + commercials are only for profit-sharing account holders.  Folks that want to make money off of the videos they upload are ultimately at fault here.

I also despise anything that overlays on the video.

No matter what, an ad pops up in the bottom but some people put a ridiculous amount of ads in their videos. I hate going to you tube now.

I hadn\'t realized it was new, but those overlayed ads annoy me, too. I can appreciate if it\'s from the video sponsor to a site they\'re promoting, but mainly it\'s just annoying, and I never click on it anyway.

Yeah...if ads are going to be in there, i\'d rather have them right before the vid rather than having them pop up all over the place...nowadays the ad\'s even make it incredibly hard for you to locate the teeny-weeny "x", so you can close it out.

Haha...too funny....and it\'s a small world....i actually know this cat!! I don\'t know his name per say, but i do know him from seeing him in the projects i used to live in back in jersey....i even used to see him at the local bars i used hit up back in newark...heh...he\'s a cool dude, but i think he\'s a bit slow.
