I\'m sure there are some issues to iron out, but american media is really trying to kick dirt on them and american auto makers are acting like they\'ve finally found a kink in the armor....toyota is still a quality car company....i\'ve had no problems with my sc400 other than the usual wear and tear.

bah....  no biggie...  As long as they really did the test, throwing this shot in is no big deal.  It was definitely a pretty stupid oversight.  It\'s an impossible shot to get with a real camera.  They were just stupid to leave the doors open.  The editor is stupid because he should have masked the shot to just show the tach and window it over driving footage.  Then you wouldn\'t see the speed now the gear indicator which the camera guy obviously fucked p an din\'t frame out.

I don\'t understand why the old fart didn\'t just shift into neutral.

Toyota did not find any sticking with the accelerator pedal during its investigation, but did find that the front brakes were severely worn, reportedly having been [COLOR="Red"]tapped lightly over 250 times[/COLOR]. The floor mat was also found to be clear of interference and no diagnostic trouble codes showed up in the computer. The power switch worked normally and shut off the vehicle in three seconds. The shift lever also worked fine, including shifting to neutral.
