I was thinking about getting a new one, since the two I have are nearly filled and I hate to delete. To my shock, the 8MB card still retails, new, for $25.
Physical memory is one of the most deflationary technologies in existence. How did this example buck what is otherwise a nearly-universal trend?
An 8GB Memory Stick Pro Duo can be had, brand new, for the same price. The PS2 Memory Card, therefore,
is one thousand times more expensive, and that\'s not taking into account the larger form-factor and reduced capabilities.
This is, quite franking, disgusting.
