Anyone get a PS4 yet?

I was able to order one from Best Buy this afternoon.  It just happened to pop up online as being able to order it.  So I guess we'll get it next week.

I went this morning to check the shelves and one thing cool Best Buy here in Tampa is doing is if you ask someone about the PS4, they will hand you a $5 off coupon for any game or accessory.  Not bad since I needed a controller anyway.

Not bad. How long is the coupon good for? I work across from a Best Buy and the cheapskate in me is wanting to pop over for a 5 dollar coupon :)

how does the PS4 handle online? does it use your old PS3 login, or do you have to create a new account on a different service, or convert it to be PS4 compatible?

My understanding is that your psn account is good for both but to play online you need to have PS plus

Titan nailed it, same psn account.  And just like PS3, you need plus to play online.  If you already have plus from the ps3 it'll transfer to the PS4

I was online the other day on my PS3 and didn't pay. If you have to pay to play online with your PS3, then Sony is sticking it right up your ass ;)

You never had to pay to play for ps3.

Supposedly psn plus is going to be $29 on Black Friday.

I was mainly xbox last gen, which you did have to pay for.  I guess sony didn't do the same until now, meh, $400 bucks for the console and 30 more for a year of plus.

30 a year isn't bad though. Annoying but they do have to pay for their servers and stuff. We had a free ride long enough. Doubt 30 a year will break anyone's budget. And it could be worse; 30 a month ;)
