Apparently Sensible Software are making a new version of Cannon Fodder for the PS2 .Yay.
Cannon Fodder was one of the coolest games ever ,and was one of the best games on the Amiga .
This was one game that I was really hoping for a remake .And in the latest Official Australian PS mag ,they said it was so .They are also making a new Sensible Soccer .

Apparently there is also a new "Last Ninja " game in the works for the PS2 .Double yay .
The Last Ninja series was some of the best games to come out of the C64 .

I for one am really looking foward to these games .Hope they dont take too long .

A new Cannon Fodder game sounds good, but I hope they manage to make a good control system for it. If they keep the same kind of controls (the originals used a mouse), I think using the Dual Shock 2 would be a bit of a chore. Oh well, let\'s hope it doesnt suck!

Cannon Fodder was a top-down view war game were you controlled a squad of four soldiers (usually) through forests or deserts completing set missions .You could also use tanks and helicopters .And it was incredibly fun.
The original was released in about 1994 was was considered to be one of the games of the year ,with a sequal that appeared about a year later .
Cannon Fodder was available on the Amiga , PC, Megadrive/genesis and the SNES .

Thanks, that does sound like a pretty cool game, I think I have heard of it somewhere before and it should be interesting how it turns out on the PS2.

It\'s quite old but who cares?

War has never been this Fun ( hehheh... did it go like that? )

I love the idea! Good ol\' nostalgic war action! Was the best amiga -game ever!

Back to the topic:
Cannon Fodder was a really cool game on the Amiga. It would be fun to see a PlayStation 2 version - even though it could never get the old Amiga feel... Amiga forever!
