EA said

"When we saw the hardware specification and talked to the Xbox team, we knew that this console was going to be popular with novice and hardcore gamers alike," said Don Mattrick, president of EA Worldwide Studio Operations. "Titles like Madden Football, SSX snowboarding and Knockout Kings boxing are going to look great on Xbox."

They are coming to the system because of specs, what if the specs turn out not like they wanted.  EA comes up with the biggest and dumbest excuses.  Something is up between Sony and EA, Microsoft and the rest of the gaming world will never know what it was.  Sony had to much stroke inside EA, it even came to a surprise for Microsoft I bet.  This war will heat up, and controversity will arise.  Then they announce plans to support all gaming companies.  This doesn\'t sound right, or like EA.

There is still the casual gamer who probaly doesn\'t even know what a X-Box is, my brother thought it was a name for a computer company, he didn\'t even know it was a gaming system.  All he knows are 3 gaming companies, another advantage for Sony has arrise.

Many people I have talked to have stated that,,They are waiting and hoping for a PS2 and will not rest until its theres.

Maybe EA is tired of the development problems. Maybe EA thinks the Xbox will be a huge seller. There is alot of maybe\'s. Then again, most likely, EA is just doing what third party developers do---multi platform development.

Very true, but atleast EA has different exclusives for different systems, and they are finally talking to Sega.

Damn man, I know you can do better than that!  That was a lame-o advantage if I ever knew of one.  Dude, your brother is the type of person Microsoft will attract with their $500 million marketing campaign.  They will go after the "bandwagon" crowd who are attracted by brand-names and new stuff.  By the Xbox launch, you and your brother will be asking Santa for a brand new Xbox.  Speaking of your brother, who does he think will win the superbowl and by how much.  I\'m asking because from what you said, he seems to be some seer.  If he doesn\'t know what something is, it\'s sure to fail.

Well then, Microsoft better get off their ass and run to his brother\'s house and tell him "WAIT!  WAIT!  DON\'T BUY THE PS2!  Seriously dude, just one more year... can you hold on please?".
