well, can you tell a difference on which is 30 fps and which is 60fps? Make sure to watch it in at least 720p@60fps to get 60 fps playback. lower resolution than 720p doesn't have the 60fps option though...
I think i actually got the answer wrong on which is 30 fps and which is 60 fps. I am not sure how did that person manage to capture 30 fps and 60 fps video of the exact same scenes and actions in that videogame. Maybe that person captures it in 60 fps, then down-converts it to 30 fps for one of the split screens while leaving the other half split screen intact as 60 fps.
Anyway, because my laptop got some sort of virus that slowdown my CPUs somewhat that when i watch this video at 1080p @ 60 fps, i get constant frame drops that was another reason why i couldn't tell the difference between 30 fps and 60 fps. another reason is the video compression quality on 60 fps is more severe than the one at 30 fps. this is really noticeable when there are lots of actions and camera movements going on.
i was able to view this at 60fps for 720p with little frame drop here and there. made me wish my laptop didn't get any viruses.
Is it possible to make a poll on this? i still don't know how to make a poll though.
Here is the link to where that video comparison came from:
