Tell me this, why do you want PS2 to win?

Thats easy, because SOny invest tremendous amounts of money into the gaming industry and gaming, becuase they are powerful enough to see innovative hardware through and really help developers innovate games.
Obviously developers see this too thats why SOny gets so much support even with hardware with a steep learning curve.
Sony has invested some billions into the PS2 with manufacturing plants and R+D etc... they are already designing the PS3 5 years before its scheduled launch. They are in it to make a profit of course but they also are strong leaders for the industry thats bodes well for all gamers wether your a Sony fan or not.
SOny also has well over 30 1st party games in development so they are investing in the games themselves and have a couple gems coming out. SOny is getting better at that end too.
They are forging partnerships for there broadband network and Involved Verant and Lucas Arts for a major Star Wars RPG things like this say strong things about Sonys commitment to the gaming community.
SOny\'s not perfect but when all is said and done with this generation of gaming SOny will have kept it promise of innovative revolutionary types of games. You do know SOny never said it would happen instantly or overnight to don\'t you.
and for the record I value the competition for there efforts because with each company pushing the other we all benefit, but if I honestly had to choose only one I wouldn\'t hesitate to pick SOny\'s machine. They may not be the #1 1st party developer but the effort to be is there, and there willingness to take risks and invest heavily back into the gaming industry speaks volumes for me.
Just my opinion
