For those of you who don\'t know, a dropship is basically a monstrous aircraft/ starcraft that carries different cargo from battlefield to battlefield. In this case, the battlefields are actually different planets and as you enter its atmosphere you\'ll have to fight off several attackers, whether they be starcrafts in the sky or tanks on the ground. Fortunately, you\'re heavily armored and you own a large arsenal of weapons that you can unleash on your adversaries at any time. Once you\'ve finally reached your destination on the battlefield, it\'s time to deploy your troops and begin the real mission. The missions involve some unique strategy elements, although we haven\'t heard any specifics. Basically, as soon as you unleash the troops a whole new strategy type mode comes into play. Now, it\'s your job to direct the troops in strategic locations in order to complete the mission, which usually involves attacking enemy bases or gaining control of essential land.As I said earlier, the latest batch of screenshots are very inspiring to say the least. First of all the starcrafts are all well-modeled and look much better than the older screens. Lighting and water effects are impeccable, and the cityscapes are all nicely textured. We\'re also expecting the framerate to remain constant at a high rate, along with some silky smooth animations. Camden Development Studio should be proud of themselves for the magnificent improvements they\'ve done on the graphics, now they just have to hope that the gameplay lives up to the visuals. Nothing else is known about this title as of yet, but details should emerge soon. Keep in mind though, Sony has insisted that this game will be released exclusively in Europe; so American and Japanese gamers may want to consider an import, unless something changes. We\'ll keep you posted on the latest developments with this and other PlayStation2 games.
