What did you do and get on your birthday?
the 2 songs i posted here are pretty much the same song except one uses snes soundchip and instrumentations while the other uses psone soundchip and instrumentations. back in 2001 iirc, when i played this game mmx5, i thought it was exactly the same song that capcom uses of the mmx2 version until recently which is a few years ago, i listened to it on youtube and realize its the same song but different instrumentations. i remember posting the snes version on Cerberus birthday thread over 5 years ago and now i feel like posting it here on GmanJoe birthday as a way to do the comparison to the psone version.
now that i listened to a/b comparison on youtube, i realize the first 8 seconds of the snes and psone version is slightly different though.
i prefer the snes more than the psone version as it has better instrumentation while the psone has better sound quality. that just shows you how amazing the snes soundchip is as its instruments have this magical charm to it.
btw, the first video is the psone version while the second video is the snes version of it.
