what\'s going on with TR??
« on: December 19, 2000, 11:27:15 AM »
I was wandering what Eidos was doing with Tomb Raider lately cause I havn\'t heard anything form them, and I\'m hoping they will get there **** together and make a TR that is actually good, cause IMO the only TR that was good was the first one and man I loved playing that game, so like I said earlier I hope the original makers of TR come back for the PS2

Why do you think that the later TR games suck? After all, they are nearly EXACT copies of the original, just with different locales. So, they are very good in that respect. The series needs a refresher though, too many games, too little time.

I preferred Tomb Raider 2 myself, cos you could drive roumd in the boat etc and it was more realistice with real people to shoot and not ghouls or whatever they were in TR1.  The hardest level by far on TR2 was the Opera House.

Man, that was Long, with a capital L

The reason I only liked the first one is because it was the only one where you actually Raided Tombs :), all the other ones were more into the cities and were by far too hard like TR:3 and TR:Revalations, but remember I said IMO, so that doesn\'t mean they were not good games they just didn\'t appeal to ME!

and yes Opora House was by far way too long of a stage, but it was cool trying to get to the top using your noggen :)
