For the sake of the youngun\'s out there:

The Odyssey 2 was a competitor with the Atari 2600 console. Odyssey was the MAJOR underdog.

Oh, I also had a Timex Sinclair 2068. Not a console, but played lots of games BEFORE the "PC". The games were loaded off a tape drive (yeah, normal cassete tape) and for a 60k game it would take about 2 minutes to load.

Cygnus, thanks for the pics, I had no idea what these consloes were or that they even existed.  I think I had something like the Timex Sinclair, it was more like a computer though, but it played games and stuff off of a cassette tape.  And Chocobo, how did you say you were getting an X Box for free?

Deadly Hampster-
I was just pretty underwhelmed by it.  SSX was cool but no reason to buy a system IMO.  I actually bought it for Gungriffon Blaze being a huge fan of the first two on the Saturn and that was great but way to short.  So I figured I\'d sell it (at cost) and buy some Dreamcast games and then pick up the PS2 again in March or something when the good stuff really started comming.  Can\'t wait for Z.O.E.!:)
