Final Fantasy X. . .
« on: December 19, 2000, 03:54:16 PM »
To start of we no absolutly nothing about FFX. Nothing. We dont have any idea what its about. The only thing people base any real view piont on this game is from the Square Miliniem Event. The video shown was only a demo and did not show any aspect of the game what so ever. The only thing it did was show you what Square is capable off in such a short time. Okay know that thats out of the way. Lets get back to the piont.

Square has rarely given any information about any of thier games untill it gets closer to thier luanch. They did it with FFIX. People new absolutly nothing about it untill they gave the word. Wouldn\'t it come to reason that any information about FFX would be big. When they told us about FFVII it was something big, when it was FFVIII it was something big, when they told us about FFIX, and when they tell us about FFX it damn sure is going to be big.

More then the XBox, more then an announced PC port, I exspect this big news to be Story line and gameplay footage. I have siad before I think the hole X-box fiasco is just wishful thinking. As i\'ve siad before the only thing that is POSSIBLY going to X-box would be the ONLINE only FFXI:Online another world.

It appears that many people are, due to an overwhelming increase of rampant speculation. It seems that recent press releases, and  mostly rumours, have had a powerful effect on people\'s perceptions. This can be witnessed by either the "fatalistic" or "arrogant" tones of some people\'s posts, and further perpetuating ominous signs of "The video game apocolypse" on the not-too-distant horizon.  This is not to suggest that everyone is situated at one end of the spectrum of the other. I am, however, saying that a few people are seriously "jumping-the gun", and by the sounds of it, are quite distressed. I suggest that the people in question, seriously loosen their undergarments, and relax just a touch. I am overstating just to get my point across, but is it just me who feels this way? Sorry ddaryl, this is not intended to be an answer to your question(yeah, just a little out of context), but rather it is  me capitalizing on an opportunity to spew forth my 2 cents and lose a little steam.
